  • Apply with a synthetic brush or foam applicator pad. Always sand with the grain of the wood. For hardwoods, such as oak and maple, begin sanding with 100-grit sandpaper, proceed to 150-grit sandpaper and finish with 200-grit or finer sandpaper. For softwoods, such as pine, begin sanding with 150-grit sandpaper and finish with 200-grit sandpaper. Clean the sanding dust from the surface using a tack cloth or vacuum cleaner.
